from Rutgers University in New Jersey before attending Life University. After graduating
from Life University, Dr. DeDeaux practiced in Acworth, GA; Singapore; Seattle, WA,
Baton Rouge, LA, and Houston, TX before moving back home to Hammond, LA.
As a Chiropractor, Dr. DeDeaux's primary focus is in a whole- body approach with a
emphasis on structure and function to help the body heal naturally. She utilizes Applied
Kinesiology, Dry Needling, Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) and nutrition to support
the body.
Dr. DeDeaux loves to hike, run, swim, read, travel and experience new cultures.
She was on the Track, Soccer, and Swim teams at St. Thomas, and the Rowing team at
LSMSA. She reads all the time, as time permits, and loves health related books and
fiction. She has traveled to many places; some of which are Thailand, South Africa,
Italy, Shanghai, and Madagascar. She has always been fascinated by
the body’s incredible ability to heal and adapt. She also loves to help people. She has
volunteered with The American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
She has always wanted to go into the medical field and chose to be a Chiropractor,
which combines her interests as a child with her willingness to help people. Dr. Kristin
is proud to be a hometown girl, returning home to give back to the community that
helped her achieve her dreams.
